Bathroom Remodel Phase 2

A couple of disclaimers on this post.
1. This should probably be entitled DIY with Greg, because there is no chance I could have done this on my own.
And 2. I did not post pictures of phase 1, so don’t look for it.  If I find the original photos I will post a phase one, but sadly that phase was done a year ago, we just got back to this project last week. So it may take some digging.
Anyway, here is how it looked last Friday.

This was phase one.  We took out the old single vanity, and put in double sinks, mirrors and lights.  In ordervto do this we had to remove a floor to ceiling cabinet which left this hole. (For a year)

If you don’t look up, its okay.  We also installed a pocket door which really opened up the space. The door used to open into the bathroom cutting the space in half.

We also installed part of the underlayment for the new tile floor so it woukd extend inder the new vanity.

This is the surround and tub before we ripped it out.

Here are some pictures of the tear out and installation.

We are a long way from a completed bathroom, but we have an awesome new tile floor.  Next step will be to install the new plumbing fixtures and to tile the shower surround….

Until next time, happy creating….
